Customer Reviews N. Hyde Said: Great Beginner Amp ( Nov. 24th 2009 )This amp is a great deal. It has far more features than other, more expensive amps that were recommended to me as a beginner. It's still plenty loud. In fact, even at its lowest volume, it's a bit too loud for someone like me who wants to practice in their apartment without pissing off roommates or getting evicted. Fortunately, the headphone jack on this amp makes my electric guitar all but silent, so I can play whatever I please.Marc Alexander Said: A great amp for a great price ( Nov. 14th 2009 )My luthier, a purist, does not like solid state amps; Line 6, in particular. But here's where we part company. I don't have much use for the over-the-top effects channels on my Line 6 as I like to play clean. That said, the clean channel gives my Strat copy wonderful, twangy lows and clear, ringing highs. In short, I just love this little amp, which is a bargain for the money and recommended. As for the purists, all electric guitars sound pretty much the same when the amp is cranked up and a bit of reverb added. The whole tube "warmth" rap is a nonsense. This my not be a purist's amp, but it's great value for the money and a powerful, versatile amp with plenty of character. Go for it. You won't be sorry. It's also a great amp for summer nights. Plug in the head phones, sit on the porch and rock as the sun goes down. It doesn't get much better than this -- well, it does; but that's all the news that's fit to print. Rock on.Randall Shaffer Said: Excellent amplifier! ( Nov. 14th 2009 )My 5-year and I have lots of fun playing the guitar and singing in the garage with this powerful little unit.sirdeth Said: very impressive sound ,quality, features and volume & price! ( Nov. 2nd 2009 )i gave my little Marshall practice amp to my ex girlfriends son as a Xmas present last year and have since realized i need a small amp for practice as my 1/2 stack even on low is way to loud and has no headphone out and i like to play late at night i have played 24 years and i will just say wow this is one impressive little dude the insane setting is my favorite but every thing about this amp is beyond my expectations its quite loud and would serve well for a rehearsal so long as everyone is using less than a 1/2 stack it keeps up with my friends mesa boogie 2x10 amp and is not flattened out at all it can cut thru nicely but where this belongs is in your bedroom or plugged into whatever you record with lots of features you will get lost playing with the effects and 4 channels well worth the [...] bucks my last Marshall was not 1/2 the amp this is and i paid [...] so do yourself a favor or whoever your shopping for and get this little beast you will not be sorryS. Lamarre Said: Great Value! ( Oct. 20th 2009 )I recently purchased this amp and absolutely love it!
